@Jayforce @joshbrownatl Galleria center is under construction and a decent number of spaces aren’t available. Some lots are still open, but it’s a nightmare with construction.

@dren_braves Pretty sure there’s video of him doin the chop at a chiefs game too. Total hypocrite.
English

@KevinKeneely1 Good lord… hopefully just swollen.
English

@ryanlowe153 They showed him getting his thumb looked at in the dugout after the fight and he kinda explaining to the trainers what happened, causing his thumb to look swollen like it was (he hit Soler’s helmet pretty hard with his thumb, while holding the baseball)

All THREE of Jo Adell's home run robberies from tonight ...
Yes, you read that right 😮
MLB@MLB
THE JO SHOW Jo Adell ROBS THREE HOME RUNS in a 1-0 @Angels victory! 🤯

@TalkinBaseball_ Dontrelle saying “stood up on him” is cracking me up.
English

@johnnyHomer35 @mlbbowman Elder did go 6 scoreless just earlier this week against (what should be) a good Athletics lineup…
English

@mlbbowman Better hope the Braves lineup can put up at least 10 runs in both of those games because both of those pitchers shouldn't even be in the majors
English

@b_outliers Unfortunately, under. In no way will this rotation be competitive. Starting the season with two injury-concerned SP, two 5.00 ERA SP, and one aging Ace (who has freak injury history) is not a recipe for success. Bottom of the lineup has significant holes too.
English

Looks like the Braves O/U win total right now is around 86.5, depending on the book you’re looking at
you taking the over, the under, or that feels dead on?

@FOS Taylor Swift once preformed at this Venue FYI 😂
English

@ChoppinBravos I posted something about a rebuild being inevitable and caught a lot of flak. The writing is on the wall, this team will struggle to be competitive this year as currently configured. Hope I’m wrong!
English

So what I’ve gathered from braves fans the success of this entire organization falls on Austin Riley and Michael Harris apparently?
Schwelly got hurt- “the success of this team doesn’t fall on the pitching anyway it’s the stars being stars”
Waldrep got hurt - repast
Murphy- repeat
HSK- repeat
Profar- repeat
Guys at some point losing 4-5 starters matters and DOES impact the success the team. The best versions of Austin Riley and Michael Harris can’t offset multiple lineup and rotation holes.
English

@StatsFarm @Lakitu886 @og_yungdilly Sure, but the intent was to compete this year and if they have another losing season, which appears imminent, a rebuild is going to happen anyways. I hope I am wrong. I’ll be at a lot of games regardless, but the writing is on the wall…
English

@ryanlowe153 @Lakitu886 @og_yungdilly Of course. And 3 of those guys were not going to be in ATL past this season anyway. You dont rebuild based on losing 3 one-year "rental" players.
English

-starting DH is addicted to meth
-starting shortstop fell on ice in a looney toones ahhh accident
-down 2 starting pitchers
-my ace is 37
-Strider throwing low 90’s
-Joe Jiminez has my grandma’s knees
-Sean Murphy has an 80 year olds hip
-Bryce Elder
Season hasn’t even started.

BREAKING: Atlanta Braves designated hitter Jurickson Profar is facing a 162-game suspension after testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug for the second time, sources told ESPN. News free at ESPN: espn.com/mlb/story/_/id…
English

@StatsFarm @Lakitu886 @og_yungdilly I don’t think the team can compete with this rotation combined with injury and production concerns in the lineup. When they win 75 or so games again, the rebuild will happen. Might as well start now and get max value.
English

@StatsFarm @Lakitu886 @og_yungdilly Yeah but two months ago we hadn’t lost Jiminez, Schwelly, HSK, Profar, Murph, Waldrep. That’s a ton of WAR lost from regulars we expected to contribute heavily this season. This team got hit with injuries similarly last year and won a whopping 76 games…
English

@Lakitu886 @StatsFarm @og_yungdilly I wouldn’t have said this 2 months ago, but this team as currently configured is gonna struggle to play .500 ball, let alone make the playoffs.
English

@StatsFarm @og_yungdilly Olson, Sale, Riley, Acuña, all have significant trade value and are all on below-market contracts. Riley is the only one you could argue due to injuries over last two seasons, but 3B is as weak as ever and he could still fetch value. Keep MHII, Drake, young SP.
English

@ryanlowe153 @og_yungdilly Who are you trading away to rebuild? It's all big contracts (wont bring back much worth it) or players w/o value due to their play.
Keep bringing up young pitchers to support this vet lineup.
English

@ChoppinBravos Really thought the Braves would make a run at him…
English

@gvedak Especially after seeing him walk out for his first ST start pumping 95-96 in February.
English

Probably one of the easiest extension discussions the Braves have had ever
Jeff Passan@JeffPassan
BREAKING: Nine-time All-Star Chris Sale and the Atlanta Braves are in agreement on a one-year, $27 million contract extension that includes a club option for $30 million in 2028, sources tell ESPN. Sale, 36, was set to hit free agency after this season but will remain in Atlanta.
