This should have been our first signing as a DM instead of Ederson. Bruno Guimaraes next to Kobbie Mainoo makes it feel like Casemiro never left. It’s a pity we are missing out on Guimaraes.

Rumors have had it that Michael Carrick wants to imitate Luis Enrique’s midfield of 3 CMs at PSG and most of you think that’s the best? Even Sir Alex Ferguson didn’t do that and you think Carrick will succeed with that at the premier league, given the intensity of the league? Alex Scott might be a good player but going for a third number 8 after Ederson and Mateus Fernandes doesn’t make sense. We have gotten used to playing with a traditional number 6, Michael Carrick can’t just change that and it will work for him. That would be like the same scenario of when Amorim came with 343 and most of you were moaning that we are not used to it. We’re not also used to playing with 3 number 8. Alex Scott shouldn’t be looked at since Fernandes is a possibility. 👍

Michael Carrick don’t want to play with a primary 6/DM is the most stupid thing I’ve ever seen. Manchester United is not PSG and Premier League is a different ball game to Ligue 1. In the premier league, you get punished if you don’t have a 6 that can win you duels, and aggressive on and off the ball, and possession.
