This is the second time a Zach Cregger script leaks but it is nice to have a confirmation that his Resident Evil is standalone and not "Set in the lore" as people made up to cope with the fact that they are getting an another standalone movie ala the Paul W.S.Anderson films

Chances are Zach Cregger's Resident Evil might score well with critics given he is directing it also a possibility it might not score well with critics but aside from a few gags inspired by the games the game fans will absolutely HATE THIS

2025's The Running Man could have easily ended with Ben actually dying at the plane and the movie ends with his wife Sheila or Amelia(If movie wanted to go dark and have Sheila and the kid stay dead) being the one to find Dan and kill him. BOOM there's a better ending

[WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN] After The Mummy Returns, Stephen Sommers was attached to direct "Argonauts". An action/adventure film about a group of treasure hunters who discover the sunken ship of Jason and the Argonauts along with the Golden Fleece.

Kind of get upset with how much people downplay Stephen Sommers' script and direction when talking about how good the '99 Mummy was. Like Fraser and Weisz just made a great movie on their chemistry alone. All the iconography, that tone you all love so much...that's Sommers.
