INSIDE THE SENATE GOP LUNCH WITH TRUMP:
Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) confronted President Trump over the Iran memorandum of understanding, a source familiar with the lunch conversation tells me @MSNOWNews.
Cassidy was “yelling” at Trump, the source said.
This source also tells me that Trump went after Sen. Dave McCormick (R-Pa.) for missing yesterday’s war powers vote, which was successful, 48-50.
But worth noting: McCormick was with Trump at a Pennsylvania rally. And even if he were at the Capitol, the resolution still would’ve been successful because McConnell was absent.
@mychaelschnell@MSNOWNews Cassidy didn’t confront Trump. LOL.
Trump told him off for being a treasonous little bitch.
You people just lie out of your ass.
@bisondele_@factorX54@SamRo True sometimes we do get sick days and PTOs in the US depending on the employer.
And in the end, hardly anyone use them all (no time).
@NoraGon93416294@amyklobuchar@ABC Where is the video of people plunging into the pool and slicing the paint? The Capital Mall has cameras everywhere - where is the video?
Hey clown;
@ABC Jonathan Karl come on man tell the people about the idiots who plunged into the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool to destroy the beautiful American flag blue paint by cutting 250 feet through the concrete removing the paint. @amyklobuchar reposted it because she really wants to be the next governor of Minnesota and if Minnesotans hate President Trump then its a political win for her. DemocRATs will do and say anything to get power.
If democRATs ever get power again Heaven forbid and God Help Us All.
This is ABC journalist Jonathan Karl’s video of the peeling paint that Trump claims implicated the reporter in a crime.
Looks like he’s simply doing his job.
Maybe the President should do his!
1- Who gives a f?
2- How are you at the exact place at the exact time that floats up? Were you standing there all day waiting for that piece?
3- Who gives a f?
4- It looks like parchment paper.
5- Who gives a f?
6- Did you see what it was under Biden? No, you don’t care but now you do.
7- Who gives a f?
@C_Rocktails@IfeomaDr@Zoya_ki_batein You're making this too complicated, and not "all PhDs" see this issue the same way. Bottom line - you get to decide how you are called and so does she. Others should respect that. Why is this so hard?
@IfeomaDr@Zoya_ki_batein Chairman was appropriate in this context.
Doctor really wasn’t, as this ain’t an academic institution or anything close.
All PhDs understand this.
@Zoya_ki_batein The first time he said it could have been an honest mistake. But as soon as she corrected him, from that point on he was just an a**hole.
No, that's not true. Voter list containing ONLY qualified citizen voters must be entered by STATES into the USPS secure portal. These are the only voters who would be eligible to receive ballots. There are strict bar code tracking that will be implemented and this should help eliminate the malfeasance associated with insecure mail in voting
🚨BREAKING: Postmaster General David Steiner told senators that, under a new proposed rule, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) will not deliver mail ballots unless states hand over their voter lists to the Trump administration democracydocket.com/news-alerts/po…
@giannipov@marceelias Voter id: ok IF the federal gov provides to every citizen for FREE w/no undue complications
Same-day and in-person: not everyone can vote on Election Day or in any person
These laws disproportionately affect people who don't vote Republican, which is exactly the reason.
@marceelias I support voter ID, same day voting and in person because I believe it helps strengthen confidence in our elections. If someone opposes it, I'd like to understand their reasons rather than assume bad intentions.
Why lie? They will deliver the mail to those who are confirmed legal voters by the federal government.
If the State mails out ballots to individuals not verified by the federal government, they will not deliver unless the States show proof of individual legal right.
And this is only for federal elections.
Once again you tell lies and half truths. This protects American citizens' votes.
But you want illegals to vote.
@amelia_tweetz Many Europeans sell everything they own to afford to go and use credit cards , they also bribe doctors to write them a sick note for 6 weeks to say they have a back or mental heath issues.
Watching the World Cup has me asking questions. Do Europeans get issued 8 weeks of vacation, unlimited airline miles, and a trust fund at birth? Because every match I turn on there are 40,000 fans following their team to a different state or country on a Tuesday afternoon while Americans are hiding in a work bathroom checking scores.
@amelia_tweetz In the UK 5.7 weeks annual leave by statute. So football fans save thier leave and take it for the cup. For the cost there are credit cards.
On the other side of the deal we earn less, are taxed to death and living is more expensive and the housing market is a ponzi scheme.
@BeckBronson62@amelia_tweetz#1 in what? By the happiness and quality-of-life indices, US pales. I guess it depends on what you think is important. Having lived in both, US policies seem to dictate that $$$ is important, while in Europe it's people.
@amelia_tweetz Amelia, it's why Europe's economy has languished since WWII and the USA has become a juggernaut. Euro's don't think twice about taking a month+ off from work (and they can!) and touring the US for soccer. I've has two 2 week vacas in 30 yrs of service-no complaints but why US #1
@amelia_tweetz The European economy benefits from money invested by Arab sheikhs, Russian oligarchs, and some corrupt politicians from Africa and Asia. The United States is generally stricter regarding anti-money-laundering enforcement.
I just booked my first Amtrak journey from Washington DC to NYC in July!
As a German who’s used to taking trains across the country I’m so excited to finally try out the inter-city train system in the United States 🇺🇸🚅
