Grumpier by the day. Grew up in the cold war. Capitalism, democracy, liberty. Brexit. Russia (and Starmer - pound shop Mao) must be defeated.

Watching the Leftist and Uniparty meltdown on here this morning regarding the new Reform policy of building migrant detention centres in Green voting areas is hilarious. Yet the people moaning are the same people who happily want them dispersed among the rest of us but scream blue murder at the prospect of them coming THEIR way. Just ask Rachel Millward, the Green Deputy Party leader who spoke out against illegals being housed in HER area.

Whenever something or someone is pro-Russian in Germany for the last 4 years, you just need to scratch a little bit beneath the surface, and you will find a former Stasi. Almost every single time.

@notintheirimage @ChrisUKSharp We were bankrupt and content to be subsidiary to the US. I imagine all our dealing on this matter were effectively delegated to the US from the 50s onwards.

@ChrisUKSharp I assume Britain is up to its neck in it. Why else did we shutter a world leading space program in the 60s.

All options remain on the table for UFO disclosure from what I understand. I can guess allies and adversaries of the U.S. will be watching closely to see whether their own positions on UFOs unravel.

Amazing how the posh green voters react, when faced with the possibility of having migrant centres near their homes… or should the working class areas have to take the burden all the time ?… Again, if you can’t see what this statement was designed to do and exposed, I can’t help you.

If you can’t understand what Zia’s just done and exposed with the detention centres statement, I can’t help you. It’s brought all the left wing hypocrisy frothing to the top.

The height requirement in dating is painfully stupid. If a woman wants a guy who's taller than her, fine. Plenty of guys also want a girl who's shorter than they are. But wanting 6'+ strikes me as a trophy thing for women. I don't buy it's an innate preference because older generations didn't focus on this nearly as much. It was *nice* if your boyfriend was tall; it wasn't a requirement. And I've heard some horror stories from men: a girl showing up to the date, saying he's too short, & RUNNING AWAY. Women asking how tall the guy is as the convo opener on an app. Women can't claim they're the less superficial sex & then reject the vast majority of their dating pool. What especially bugs me is women who say everyone's allowed preferences. Wanting a guy who treats you well? Fine. Rejecting anyone who doesn't tower over you, regardless of other positive traits? Odd. And the dehumanizing language toward short men is insane. Claiming tall guys have better personalities, short guys are dangerous or angry, etc. What's especially wild: data shows height doesn't strongly impact a man's # of sexual partners. But this may change if women won't even give the 5'9" (literally average) guy a chance. The 5'9" Gen X & millennial men I knew did just fine. But Gen Z men increasingly have to impress online as opposed to IRL, so height becomes a more important factor. Even IRL, if the trend among women is to view any guy under 6' or so as a "manlet," that impacts most men. It's odd to watch women complain about objectification...and then objectify men to the point only 15% of women would give a guy who's 5'8" a shot on a dating app. I feel for young people. It's a different world now...

Huh, so the site created for heavy left leaning users has devolved into an insufferable platform where everyone is nasty and tries to hurt each other. I for one am totally shocked.

Ystävääni ja hänen naisystäväänsä puukotettiin Helsingissä vappuna. He olivat viettämässä iltaa tuhansien muiden tapaan Helsingin keskustassa.

@PaulEmbery At the moment @PaulEmbery they are being housed on working class housing estates and not in the leafy suburbs of Cheshire. Is that fair? Most Green voters are middle class nimbys. It’s about time we had a say don’t you?👍

@JayinKyiv As long as Russian society as a whole acknowledges what evil it has caused in Ukraine, apologizes and pays reparations to some extend, and then takes a hard look at its own imperialistic culture, I'm all for it.

One of Russia's most popular bloggers says that the Russian elite are about to oust Putin, replacing him with a weak pro-western puppet, ushering in (once again) a new Gorbachev-esque time of perestroika to convince the west to remove sanctions, while in the background warring clans will battle over the nation's (Putin's) wealth. Maxim Kalashnikov further cites that not only the armed Russians returning from the front will descend the country into violent chaos, but that interethnic violence will explode.

On the contrary, Mr Nelson, a party in power that a) does what it says it will and b) directly applies its policies based on the voting preferences of a given region is MORE representative. Not less.
Fraser Nelson@FraserNelson

Another significant evolution in Reform's style of politics. Its proposed internment camps will only be built in parts of the country that vote for its rivals. This is a new departure for UK politics: rejecting the idea of PM-for-all and instead a new partisan style.
