So, 41 years ago today right now I was in my hotel room at Caesar's Palace going over my notes for this broadcast. We all knew it would probably be a great night for the sport, but no one could have known just how much it would live on as one of the most iconic moments in the sport's long history. These two men added a major piece of what made them legends in the sport. It was an honor to be able to chronicle this with Al Michaels.

As a child, fearful that my ailing father would be drafted into the Chinese military, I took his spot—though, as a girl, I was technically unqualified to serve. I cleverly impersonated a man and went off to train with fellow recruits, where I excelled.

I'm in the middle of @LauraDelano's book about her mental health journey and the horror she went through and nonsense psychiatrists prescribed to her. It's gobsmacking - an SSRI, then a drug to block dopamine, then ambient, then layered on top of it a drug that INCREASES dopamine!!! I sound like a Midwestern mom reading it

Dude doesn't even have a "controversies" page on his wikipedia. I don't love his politics and others can debate where his skills rate all time, but he seems like a real role model for a lot of kids.
