One of the things I want to see us move away from is calling a person "diverse". A person isn't diverse, groups are. When you call someone diverse, you position "one group (white, male Americans) as the default, and everyone else as the Other” theatlantic.com/entertainment/… #usfdeicert

Let’s call this what it is. Another Black life has been lost at the hands of senseless violence. There is a system in place that created and has upheld racism, marginalization, and injustice. It must be uprooted and rebuilt from the ground up. Black Lives Matter.
