@nonewthing i’m not a fan of gyokeres but that’s a pretty much standard position for a CF to take up. gives the option for a give and go with the carrier

@abbous_ahm50420 @iidk35477 i agree with most of these points actually
English

-No sense of rhythm (can't read the pulse of a game )
-No deliberate manipulation of space and time
-One dimensional /too vertical and it's a bad thing especially in possession based teams
-Can't raise the floor in a game( 0 Pausa)

This way of thinking football is a one set way kills me, is Declan rice a passing specialist? Arsenals passing specialist in Zubimendi isn’t even rated by the masses and they’re running away with the league. How your manager instructs and coaches his players is THE MOST important

Tonali + Baleba are two good players but stylistically we’d still have NO passer specialist in midfield or controller type. Limiting the range of football and style you can play. Not smart squad building. Especially with expected cost for both.

people think I hate on Yamal here when really it’s just a basis of knowledge, the calibre of players I’ve seen & helped me standardised talent & performance levels, Özil is a great case in point on that
