I reached out to Italy’s Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, and here’s what they replied:
✅ Each EU Member State can decide whether to accept it on their territory, as we already know.
✅ Italy is not taking a decision until EU meeting and discussion.
✅ A joint analysis between the European Commission and Member States is planned for May.
They’re taking a cautious cautious approach.
So, we have to wait.
