Lots of positive talk about vaccines and lower case counts. But why are we still ignoring our women and men over 80 and not giving them appointments for second doses now? Making them line up for walk in appointments for left over doses seems cruel.
@alex_n_boyd@TorontoStar are they talking about first dose astra only then second does astra. I had my first dose March 17 of Pfizer and I am confused if they are inviting me to take my second dose as Astra?
📣Call out for readers: I'm working on an explainer for @TorontoStar on getting your second dose of AstraZeneca vaccine in Ontario. So stuff like, why was this decision made? How will you know when it's your turn? Etc. But what else do you want to know??
@CBCQueensPark Thanks I am one of the seniors over 80 who has been at home - I had my first shot March 17 and have my second booked July 9. This is a long time between shots. If I was in a nursing home I would have both shots. Feeling forgotten
NEW: Ontario is on track to administer at least one dose of #COVID19 vaccine to 65% of the adult population by the end of May, officials told journalists in a briefing. #COVID19Ontario
I'm ENRAGED!
After @GeneralHillier announced that Ontarians 80+ would have to wait additional weeks for the launch of @ONGov's #COVID-19 website (to to ensure it wouldn't crash) today's unofficial surprise launch saw this long-awaited lifeline crash within only a few hours.
I don’t see any analysis regarding Canada and the size of the provinces. Ontario has 14.5 million population and 504 cases compared to BC with 5 million population and 472 cases. There is a big difference here.
Hey @WestJet while it’s a bit “cute” there’s nothing about a flight attendant joking and laughing their way through an entire safety demonstration that makes passengers feel they are in the hands of professionals who can assist if there is an issue?
RUSH!!! to see "I and You" at Tarragon Extra Space. A play that grabs you pulls you in and leaves you breathless with an ending the packs a wallop. Bravo to Director Marc Bondy who decided to read this play and then produced it. Woow. Review to follow.
