Unrelated: As an Ijaw girl, I used to think everyone cooked their soups with isam (periwinkle) while growing up.
Imagine the culture shock when I discovered that it was mostly a rivers/Ijaw thing and most cultures didn’t even use it. Some persons didn’t even know what isam was😭
