Why do venture firms offer term sheets in terms of pre-money instead of post-money valuation? When ownership details matter to everyone (founders, investors, etc.), isn't it in everyone's best interest to just talk about things in the post-money form?

Lowest point for me during the bear market was attending permissionless, listening to the presentations, and realizing the ETH people had no sense of urgency. Felt like listening to a university researcher lecture. Product seemed YEARS out.

what's tipped me into believing we need to act immediately is listening to the core devs (past and present), alongside the app devs and L2 devs who have said similar for a long time. the ones who are talking publicly and in private telling me that EF needs immediate changes to be more competitive. many more are liking my posts calling for change and basically NONE of them are standing up to tell me everything is fine and we just need to stay the course with the current EF MO whether you like it or not, this speaks volumes
