Before accepting “the single most damning evidence in U.S. history,” it’s worth checking what the documents actually say.
The report Gabbard declassified was written by Devin Nunes’s staff in 2020. It disputed one finding in the 2017 intelligence assessment - that Putin preferred Trump - arguing the judgment relied on a single source and didn’t meet analytical standards. The report found the rest of the 2017 assessment sound.
Trump’s own special counsel John Durham spent three years investigating whether Obama officials fabricated the Russia intelligence. He filed no charges. He found no criminal conspiracy. His mandate was exactly what this post alleges happened. He came up empty.
Gabbard calling something a “years-long coup” does not make it one. The documents she released have been reviewed by independent analysts at Lawfare and FactCheck.org and found not to support the fabrication claim. The report is a partisan dispute over analytical methodology, not proof of government overthrow.
CNN cutting away from a briefing is a programming decision. The underlying claim in the briefing has a documented evidentiary problem that predates the broadcast.

This is a travesty.
John represented the President in litigation challenging an election. That’s all. He lied about nothing. Reasonable minds can disagree about the 2020 election.
He did what lawyers are supposed to do — represent disfavored individuals. And make no mistake, the elites, especially in bar apparatuses, disfavor and hate President Trump and anyone associated with him with a burning passion.
No one representing Vice President Gore was disbarred for losing Bush v. Gore where the whole partial county-specific recount strategy Democrat lawyers devised there was ruled an unconstitutional violation of equal protection.
Two-tiered system of justice and of bar discipline.
Pray for John and his family and that John will speedily take his case to the U.S. Supreme Court and that they will grant cert and reverse this absolute nonsense.
