Just three days later, while filming at Shahnewal Airport, Ranveer Singh jokingly suggested the doctor should appear in the movie. Director Aditya Dhar loved the idea, and Dr. Ashok ended up with a surprise on-screen moment with Ranveer's character. The clip has since gone viral, making Ludhiana's doctor a local celebrity almost overnight.

Ranveer Singh and the Kantara controversy Ranveer has decided to settle the matter peacefully. He plans to submit a formal written apology (an affidavit) to the Karnataka High Court on April 10, 2026. His lawyer suggested that Ranveer is willing to travel to the Chamundi shrine in Mysore to apologize in person. He already posted a message saying he truly admires the original performance by Rishab Shetty and never meant to offend anyone's culture.
