🚨 Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card Devaluation Effective: 12 April 2026 Here’s a clear breakdown of the major changes: 🔹 1. Cashback Capping Logic Changed Earlier: • 25% cashback on Airtel Mobile, Broadband & DTH → Capped at ₹250/month • 10% cashback on utility payments via Airtel Thanks → Capped at ₹250/month Now: Cashback caps are linked to base cashback (1% category spending) in the same billing cycle. New limits: • 25% Airtel telecom cashback → Max 2× base cashback earned • 10% Airtel utility cashback → Max 1× base cashback earned 👉 Example: If you earn ₹250 base cashback (1%) in a month: • Airtel telecom cashback cap → ₹500 • Airtel utility cashback cap → ₹250 ⚠️ This effectively forces users to spend in 1% categories first to unlock higher Airtel cashback. 🔹 2. Food & Grocery Cashback Removed Earlier: • 10% cashback on – Swiggy – Zomato – BigBasket Now replaced with 10% value back on: • Zomato • Blinkit • District Movies Conditions: • Max ₹200/month per partner • Minimum order ₹499 on Zomato & Blinkit • Benefit credited as partner wallet balance (not statement cashback) 🔹 3. Domestic Lounge Access Discontinued Earlier benefit: • 4 complimentary domestic airport lounge visits per year Now: • Lounge access benefit removed completely
