@davidpaullerner @SHUNCK I think you were expected to maintain a speed so that as you passed each one of the they had the same number. In this case 6. If you arrived at the next one and the number was higher or lower then you were too fast or too slow.

@davidpaullerner @SHUNCK They were used during caution laps as a reference for the drivers to maintain their position before they went to bunching up behind the pace car.
