The King's Messengers Quartet was a South African acappella gospel group founded in 1954 by Billy Mahlalela. The four founding members were Billy Mahlalela (baritone & tenor), Washington Sixolo (bass), Palmer Kote (2nd tenor) & Norman Dube (1st tenor).
