@GoldbergCFC agree 💯 we may luck into some results / trophies along the way given the talent we do have (at least for now), but the soul / grit / intensity / culture has been stripped from the club

@flameosumeet issue is, we also need to sell all the players we’ve accumulated that are clearly not good enough + buy players that are of the level.

I can’t stop thinking about where Chelsea/Clearlake go from here.
At minimum this summer, we need a left winger, a midfielder, a CB, and we have to pray that Colwill returns at the same level.
And these players all have to be good, otherwise we will repeat the same season. Does anyone actually think we can pull that off?

Wouldn’t have changed the result but my word Sam Barrott is a disgrace to refereeing. Used the crowd to give some decisions, happy to slow the game down at any opportunity, booked Caicedo for essentially nothing which had further consequences. Shambles.

Chelsea fans get a boner and never apply context once it's a player they dislike. The interview is there for them, but 1 line from a journalist was enough for them to switch from the loss to uncalled slander.

The problem is the players go home and will say this guy is shit, this is all shit, and that bleeds into the season. Would bet heavily on no CL now, despite thinking we're obviously good enough.

Taking a step back, tie is gone when Jorgensen throws it away and then they immediately concede off a mistake second leg. Other than that, some spectacular PSG finishes and you live and learn. Probably not worth overreacting to in isolation.

It was a dead after that first mistake, sucked all belief out of the stadium and players - almost pointless to analyse anything after that. We’ve gifted PSG momentum at every critical moment across both legs through really, really bad individual mistakes.
