The meeting took place in a hotel in New York yesterday where Parrish & Egbhali were present, why should the Sporting Directors be involved?

It should be seen as nothing more than a complete failure of the sporting directors that the owners regularly negotiate transfer fees.

Alonso’s Leverkusen was truly excellent at set pieces, I don’t think that staff members is still with him (hard to tell externally), but if not this would be a mistake IMO

@Statford_Bridge I genuinely find it amazing that when a player regularly outperforms his xG it is regularly used by stattos as an 'unsustainable' negative, when the regularity aspect should show it to very much be a positive.

For his career (England/all clubs) Rogers is 23% above his xG, and 3% above his Post Shot xG. He is genuinely shooting the ball harder and into better spots. The "luck component" (ie goalkeeping) is ~1 career goal worth. Kid can shoot. More goals is good!

Fans told to get to the World Cup final stadium now 4 hours before KO - already security staff saying FIFA system glitches not scanning passes and long queues forming. With extra security. People being misdirected around the stadium with a lack of stewarding and staffing
