The African Democratic Congress (ADC) wishes to inform the public that, pursuant to resolutions reached at its National Convention held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Rainbow Event Centre, Garki, Abuja, the Party has approved the expulsion of certain individuals for acts deemed inconsistent with its constitution, values, and disciplinary framework. The affected individuals are Hon. Leke Abejide, Nafiu Bala Gombe, Mr. Kingsley Temitope Ogga, Mr. Don Norman Obinna, Mr. Kennedy Odion, Mr. Clement Ehigiator, Mrs. Stella Chukwuma, Patrick Ambut, Johny Tovie Derek, Duke Dick, and Elias Adikwu. This decision followed the consideration and adoption of a motion on the discipline of erring members, duly presented and ratified by delegates at the Convention under the leadership of His Excellency, Senator David Mark, GCON, National Chairman of the Party. With this action, the affected individuals cease to be members of the African Democratic Congress with immediate effect. Consequently, they are now at liberty to explore other political platforms, and any political party that may wish to receive them is free to do so. The Party reiterates its unwavering commitment to discipline, internal democracy, and the rule of law. The ADC will continue to uphold the highest standards of accountability as it consolidates its position as a credible and viable alternative for Nigerians.

"Let me now speak plainly about Bola Ahmed Tinubu, because plainness is what this moment demands. In my considered assessment — and I do not use such language lightly — Tinubu represents the most comprehensively corrupt political figure to have occupied the highest office in Nigeria’s troubled history. That is not rhetoric. That is a conclusion drawn from evidence that is now, in significant part, part of the public international record" - Kio Amachree

@CspIniedu The Police authority itself is complicit. Why not clearly itemised the essential papers that needed to be produced at any checking point, so we know when an officer is going beyond recommendation. These things are not cast in stones.

Are you guys aware that this Hamzat guy is not supposed to be a Deputy Governor and he would have been disqualified, alongside Governor Sanwo-Olu, if Nigeria’s Judiciary weren't corrupt? He reportedly took an oath pledging allegiance to the US and denouncing his Nigerian citizenship. Even a US-based Immigration Lawyer testified in court against him. But of course, the Nigerian judiciary, being what they are known for, failed to uphold the constitution, striking out the case against him on technicalities.✍️

Lagosians, Imagine Lagos State were your company, and you had to choose a Managing Director from these two options: GRV: Educated at MIT, Oxford, and Harvard, with over 20 years of professional experience. Hamzat: Educated at Lagos State Polytechnic and Cranfield University, with most of his career spent working under Tinubu. Who would you trust to lead your company?

🗣️Dear Nigerians, Our country’s health budget is growing. On paper, everything looks like progress. But when you zoom in, the story changes. Trillions are approved, but somehow Nigerians are still the ones funding their own survival. From ₦635bn in 2021 to ₦2.83tn in 2025, the numbers climbed, before dipping to ₦2.46tn in 2026. Across states, ₦26.52tn was approved, but only ₦17.88tn was spent. Out of ₦1.97tn allocated to health, just ₦1.18tn was used. #AskQuestions #GetInvolved

@MasterBolaji This is what you get when you have a blind leading the blinds, no one in her entire cycle could correct the lousy dracula that Senators are not elected to execute projects, if the Senator has issue he take it up with the appropriate Ministry/Minister. They're all too gullible.

Serah, the FG disburses monthly allocations to states as part of budget implementation. This is how governance runs. Roads are being built daily across the country as part of that same implementation. Is it that you people are not brilliant or you're just doing politics???
SERAH IBRAHIM@TheSerahIbrahim

It’s like Nigerians do not know what this means. The whole nation should be aggrieved right now. A Senator has just confirmed to you that since Tinubu came to power, he has not implemented any budget. For context ₦21.8 TRILLION in 2023, ₦28.8 TRILLION in 2024, and ₦49.7 TRILLION in 2025 is MISSING. This is your blood and sweat Nigerians. Where is the money?

I really need help and advice Am a very beautiful lady, curvy and fair, I get a lot of DMs from men asking me out, not just online but offline too. To a lot of people, it looks like I have everything going well for me. But I have a problem that I’ve been battling with, I bed wet 😭😭😭. Right from childhood till now, it has not stopped. My parents have done all they could to stop it but it didn’t work. I have also tried on my own, but it’s still the same thing… I end up peeing on myself. Because of this, I have stayed away from relationships for years, not because men are not coming, but because I’m ashamed. I keep asking myself, how do I even explain this kind of thing to a man? Now I have finally found this man that I’m deeply in love with. But even with him, I’m still hiding it. Anytime I go to his place, I make sure I don’t sleep or even sleep over, just to avoid bedwetting. Now he’s talking about coming to see my parents. And I’m scared 😭 Because I know I can’t hide this forever. One day he will find out. And I don’t know if it’s better to tell him myself or let him find out on his own. Please how do I tell him about this? Or if possible, what can I do to stop it? 😭

'Now I truly understand why so many women avoid marrying single fathers. Right now, my husband isn’t speaking to me, and it’s all because of his son. I am 28 years old and we have a 6-month-old baby together. I’ve known my husband for three years, and we have lived together for one. When we met, he was already a single dad to a 2-year-old boy (the mother sadly passed away during birth). That boy is now 5 years old. My biggest issue is that he doesn’t help with any chores at all, he doesn't like sweeping, same with washing the dishes, nothing. Since I have a newborn, my younger sister moved in to help me, and my husband even offered to pay for her tailoring school. Everything blew up last Wednesday. My husband came back home around 7: 50AM because he forgot his laptop. He found his son still at home and asked why he wasn't in school. I explained that I told the boy he had to finish his chores sweeping the house and washing dishes before he could leave for school. My husband lost his temper. He shouted that a 5-year-old is too young for chores and said my sister should be doing that work instead. I told him straight: my sister is not a maid; she is here to help me with the baby’s laundry. Since then he has been giving me the silent treatment. To make a point, he now wakes up at 5: 30AM every day to sweep the rooms and do the dishes himself so his son won't have to. Now, he has given me an ultimum. He wants my sister to leave so he can hire a professional nanny. I told him no, but he said if she isn't gone in a week, he will force her out himself. When I told him I would leave too, he simply said the door is open—but I’d have to leave our 6-month-old baby behind. I’m currently stuck. I don’t want to lose my marriage, but I don’t want a stranger all in the name of a 'nanny' in my house either. If my sister leaves, she loses her chance at her training. Is it too much to ask a 5-year-old to do some household chores? Pls, whats wrong asking my step child to help out with chores??"

When doing business in the UK, local government wrote me a thank you letter for employing 5 people. By the time I was employing 20-30 people, I was getting a letter from the Prime Minister. URGENT & PRIVATE To: Professor Joash Amupitan (SAN), Office of the Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Abuja, Nigeria. Subject: NOTICE OF LEGAL IMPLICATIONS REGARDING DENIAL OF DIGITAL ASSETS AND THE RISKS OF PERVERTING THE COURSE OF JUSTICE. Sir, This correspondence serves as a formal observation and a strategic warning regarding your office’s recent public denials concerning the ownership of specific social media accounts and linked financial identifiers. While the use of defensive offenses such as threatening the arrest of citizens who point out digital footprints may offer a temporary shield in the media, it is creating a catastrophic legal liability for you as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and a public servant. 1. The Forensic Trap. Why Denial is Not a Defense. In the digital age, a denial of ownership is an invitation for forensic discovery. The public space has already identified links between the account in question and your personal email, phone number, and an OPay account. A. KYC Integrity Banking institutions like OPay operate under strict Know Your Customer (KYC) mandates. If a subpoena is issued, the disclosure of the BVN and NIN used to verify that account will provide irrefutable proof of ownership. B. Subpoena to Tech Giants. Should this matter reach a court of competent jurisdiction, a request for your IMEI log-in history from X (formerly Twitter) will reveal whether the account was accessed from your personal or official mobile devices. 2. Legal Consequences. Perjury and Misleading the State. By claiming the account is a cyber attack and prompting your office to threaten arrests, you are moving from a PR crisis into a criminal territory. A. Giving False Information. Under Nigerian law, using the machinery of the State (the Police) to investigate a crime you know to be a fabrication is a punishable offense. B. Perjury. If these denials are eventually sworn to in an affidavit or presented as testimony in any election tribunal or civil suit, the resulting conviction for perjury would mean the automatic loss of your license as a SAN and your permanent disqualification from public office. 3. International Litigation & The ECOWAS Court. While you may feel shielded by local judicial dynamics, international courts operate beyond the reach of executive interference. A. The ECOWAS Court. This body has consistently ruled against the use of state power to harass citizens over digital expressions. A suit filed here would not just target you, but would expose the Nigerian State to international embarrassment and hefty fines, for which you would be held personally and professionally responsible. B. International Reputational Blacklisting. As a law professor, you are aware that global legal bodies and monitoring groups track such controversies. This saga threatens to turn a storied academic career into a textbook example of digital-era integrity failure. 4. Recommendation for Damage Control. By continuing this path of aggressive denial, you are destroying the very integrity you seek to protect. The threat to arrest citizens is perceived globally as an admission of guilt through intimidation. We strongly advise a pivot toward transparency. The digital footprints are already in the public domain; no amount of local police interference can erase the data held on servers in San Francisco or the cloud-based ledgers of OPay. The path you are on leads to removal from office, criminal conviction, and a permanent stain on your legal legacy. Be so guided. Your best option is to resign now. Comrade, IG Wala. 12/04/26 Cc: The Nigerian Bar Association (Legal Practitioners’ Disciplinary Committee). The Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB). International Bar Association (Human Rights Institute).
