Anyone who objects to this clearly hasn't read the Church fathers, who are even more fervent. St Augustine says that "the superfluities of the rich are the necessities of the poor," and whoever witholds them is a thief.

This is Distributism. The Church teaches that laissez-faire capitalism and state socialism are equally exploitative of the poor. Distributism is the way.
