On #WorldMentalHealthDay please spare a thought for all people living with #dementia and their family carers for which mental health issues following a diagnosis are all too common. If you can, do something nice, give a hug, ring, have a chat with someone who may be affected.

Access to support following a diagnosis of #dementia is not equal across the world & in many countries is often non-existent. On #WorldAlzDay, we call for post-diagnosis care, treatment & support for people with dementia to be recognised as a human right: bit.ly/3f7Ryz7

Today is #WorldAlzheimersDay it is extremely important that world leaders recognise the huge stigma that still surrounds #alzheimers and #dementia at the highest level. We need more action as soon as possible to improve the lives of people living with dementia and their families
United Nations@UN

People with dementia frequently face stigmatization and barriers to diagnosis & care. On Wednesday's #WorldAlzheimersDay, join @WHO in calling for the highest quality of care for those suffering from dementia. who.int/news-room/fact…
