Day 34: Got something interesting to share. In just over a year, I’ve made $237,895 purely from airdrops. My strategy has always been simple—sell every airdrop the day it launches. But out of curiosity, I decided to calculate how much I’d have made if I’d held onto everything until now. The results? 🔘16 airdrops (42.1%) are trading higher now, with an average gain of +154.8%. 🔘22 airdrops (57.9%) are trading lower, with an average loss of -56.7%. 🔘If I’d held everything, my airdrops would be worth $287,383 now . At first glance, it might seem like holding onto them would have been smarter. But here’s the catch: I converted most of my airdrops into ETH (+65.3%), SOL (+270.8%), and PEPE (+1395%) after selling, and these coins absolutely crushed the returns from holding those airdrops. So in the end, selling was the right move for most of them. However, I’m starting to notice a pattern: there’s always a few high-quality airdrops—like Hyperliquid, Grass, Cloud etc—that end up running much higher after launch. This has taught me to stay flexible. I’ll still stick to my strategy of selling most airdrops at TGE, but I’ll be more cautious about fully clipping good tokens early, especially when the market is in easy mode. The key is balancing conviction and liquidity, knowing when to hold and when to rotate. Every trade is a lesson. Stay sharp, stay adaptable.
