@tuarrep_dev
Code is my mother tongue. Mainly @nuxt_js and @laravelphp but have good basics on @golang, @flutterDev, or Java.

@JackEllis Oh, just remembered that is an EU-only rule (again)
English

@JackEllis It’s an Apple requirement to auto update card in wallet when lost / stolen / damaged/ expired
English

@JackEllis Agree.
Don’t know in Canada, but in France, we have some solid (ugly) checkout pages provided by the major banks that are secure too.

@TheLukeTowers @PovilasKorop Thanks for this input from the inside of the project!

@tuarrep_dev @PovilasKorop Winter does support Laravel 11, it's on a separate branch and it's just waiting for me to finish 1.2.7 before releasing 1.3 😜
English

@SirRainford @PovilasKorop Don’t know anything about these two projects.
Lack of maintenance is one of the probable reasons.
The other one I see is the over complexity of the project.
It’s also a bad reason leading to disqualification.
English

@tuarrep_dev @PovilasKorop Disqualified just for laziness to perform the upgrade. Dead projects basically.

Alex from @jumptwenty4 is a legend! He's put so much work into @cachethq's dashboard.
Thanks to Alex, Cachet now has a new component manager that allows you to quickly change a component's status right from the first page of the dashboard 👏
Try it out for yourself at v3.cachethq.io/dashboard - you can login with test@test.com and test123

@PovilasKorop Cannot agree more!
It’s not only in SaaS but in business in general: to scale you must hire people better than you. So if you’re already one of the best, you can’t.
English

Totally!
And, when they have no customers, they usually try to solve it with... building one more feature.
And one more.
Because it's their comfort zone.

Unpopular opinion: Coding skills are a disadvantage for SaaS founders. They get stuck on tech and often ignore marketing

@gonedark Writing a thing down is very powerful to really understand it

@tuarrep_dev @JackEllis There is no anti-fork for Wordpress, it is only for Woocommerce they disallowed it for.

Demanding 8% of gross revenue is insanity. Not net, gross. That’s revenue before expenses.
This fight is about Automattic’s investors wanting to make more money after they poured $1 billion into the company.
I believe WP Engine is a scapegoat.
Automattic@automattic
We've published our term sheet and details of past negotiations with WP Engine: automattic.com/2024/10/01/wpe…

Okay. For my next project I’ll switch from PostgreSQL to SQLite.
Decision is made.
Seeing @PinkaryProject working so well with it and the real hype around it in the #Laravel community convinced me.
English

@AshAllenDesign @phpstorm @laravel_idea 1. Code completion on models and facades.
2. Jump to anything from anywhere
I don’t use any other features
English

Question for any devs that use @phpstorm and the @laravel_idea plugin:
What's your favourite Laravel Idea feature? 🔥
English

@gonedark I adhere to this principle too.
I make some exceptions when the app is very simple and can be described as an only-one-thing app.
But perhaps I need to consider the new defer method for them now…
English

@laravel_idea Great to hear, thank you for your answer 👍
English

@tuarrep_dev There is no such option yet. We are going to add it soon in one of the next versions.
English

Ahoy @laravel_idea I have a question / request.
When generating auto completions for custom attributes, is it possible to generate camel case instead of sneak case?
I don’t find any option about this in the settings :(
