@Paul_Reviews I have a smart doorbell from SkyBell: skybell.com/skybell-hd/ which has no subscription or base station, I got it in 2017-2018. It has no base station or subscription, but I think they offer a subscription now. Maybe SkyBell privacy sucks less?

Rapidly coming to conclusion that there no #privacy preserving, #localOnly #doorbells on the market.
Only 3 I've found so far that claim to protect you by storing "all data locally"; NONE of them are remotely true.
