I remember I had a theory about Berdly being doomed to die one way or another, as something to do with how he also tries to put himself into the story/prophecy as an important character, but on a lesser note than Susie does, so he gets the short end of the stick as Sacrifice

@Lockst3p @dtasriel throughout the entire weird route there’s an undercurrent of marriage symbolism, you have to pick “we’re something else” a lot of it is forcing these two teenagers into roles they’re uncomfortable with and taking away their autonomy.
