@vsidou @fjullien06 Package pictures => to compare to a part you are fairly certain is genuine? Can you measure the thickness of both of them? Does acetone do anything different like remove a black residue?

I was sure the AD8022s I got from Amazon were counterfeits (10 for €5 vs. €7 each on Mouser). The markings looked odd, but I decapped one, and it turns out it's genuine ADI inside—marked A8822. Still, I need to buy from legit sources to compare. What do you think?

@vsidou @fjullien06 "Counterfeit" also means different things to different people. Ex: if a part is genuine but the package was sanded and re-marked to refresh the date code, is that counterfeit?
