Hi Asif, Due to the current global situation and the sudden increase in cancellations, refund requests are being processed in very high volumes. As a result, refunds may take up to 90 days depending on the airline and payment provider. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

This is the maximum because the refund process goes through multiple stages, including the airline, payment systems, and the bank, and each has its own processing time. This timeframe is set to ensure the process is completed, and the refund may be received earlier than that.

@Wego @airindia Still no clarity on why my refund is delayed or if @airindia has even processed it. @Wego says 'waiting for airline,' but Air India says 'contact your agent.' This circular response is unacceptable.
