Nimbyism is the biggest factor here. Permitting delays lead to quantifiable revenue loss. Data centers can generate $10B per GW per year. Meaning just a few months delay = billions in lost revenue. When comparing terrestrial vs. space economics, revenue loss from permitting delays needs to be factored into models. And permitting delays will no doubt get worse. Hence, why power / data center build-out on Earth gets harder over time. But in space, it becomes easier (as you get better at it). If/when nimbyism gets so bad that delays broadly turn indefinite, the economics comparison swings even harder to space. Or they just become irrelevant at that point.

Christopher Nolan’s upcoming adaptation of The Odyssey already appears epic in scale—but the design of Agamemnon’s helmet has sparked a fierce divide online. Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of The Odyssey has sparked intense debate over its costume design, with Agamemnon’s helmet emerging as the most controversial detail. Many viewers argue it resembles a sleek, modern superhero cowl rather than authentic Late Bronze Age Mycenaean armor, with some online comparisons pointing to Batman due to its sharp facial lines and all-black, aggressive aesthetic. Critics have also taken issue with the helmet’s apparent thickness and texture, describing it as “plastic” and unconvincing as real bronze. For them, the design disrupts historical immersion, feeling closer to cosplay than functional battlefield equipment.

Everyone called their trading bot an AI agent this cycle. None of them really were. A bot has an if/then statement. Market does something unexpected → it either starts hallucinating or freezes. It doesn't know what it doesn't know. An agent reasons through it, but only as well as the model behind it. But there's also a catch here. A Princeton research paper recently showed that single models at 44% accuracy on complex crypto predictions. Worse than a coin flip. That's why NickAI is one of my personal leaders in the agentic trading environment. @getNickAI runs 6+ top-tier models on every decision it makes (Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, and Qwen). LLMs constantly debate among themselves, reaching a superior collective consensus that reduces errors by 78%. Moreover, @galaxyhq is one of their core backers and traders. Yep, they don't just cut the checks, but their own trading desk started running it. Remember that Galaxy Digital has one of the most sophisticated trading teams in the world. Their soft beta went live today. You can already start creating your strategy, with no code knowledge required. • 500+ agents running right now • $40M+ AUM • 5,200+ trades out of closed beta alone. The agentic economy will only get bigger from here, you're either in or you're left behind. I started playing around with it. You can also get exclusive access through my code below. app.getnick.ai/sign-up - code STACY, free month (100 spots)

A note from the future: In the intercrisis period of the early '20s, the West mistook a civilizational transition for a normal business cycle. Policymakers thought they were managing inflation and employment. In reality they were navigating the breakdown of the cheap-energy, low-rate, globally integrated order while simultaneously financing an unprecedented compute buildout. Geopolitical fragmentation raised the real cost of energy, shipping, and security. AI concentrated capital spending into a few firms and a few themes, masking weakness elsewhere. Central banks looked at lagging indicators while the structure of the economy was changing underneath them. Markets remained levitated longer than expected because the profits of the AI buildout were immediate for a narrow leadership cohort, while the costs of fragmentation and higher energy diffused slowly through the rest of the system. Eventually, the tension stopped living in the narrative layer of the market and migrated into the plumbing of the financial system...

Wild how full circle this feels. Just listened to this 🔥 podcast ep about @reppo — reminds me of what we tried 3 yrs ago in the space vertical: A #DePIN–powered prediction market for tracking space asset state & collision risk. The idea: curated, crowdsourced state & risk data for in‑orbit insurance (and credit😉) providers, SSA, SDA companies & institutions. We had 30+ data scientists onboard and were lining up LeoLabs as our first feed… But it died when we realized @NASA runs 500K conjunction assessments/day and Roscosmos ~1M. → 1 CA = 1 prediction market. Even with automation… humans can’t touch that scale. Fast‑forward to today 🚀 That original idea evolved into @watchtower150 — a stablecoin backing real space hardware (starting w/ terrestrial GPUs & antennas) with a vertically integrated asset tracking network (based on the work done in 2022/23). With agentic AI + DePIN infra, we can finally revisit that dream: an semi-agentic prediction layer that scales millions of CAs/day without human fatigue. 🎧- youtu.be/5KRtoTdK2pA?si… We’re just getting started.

pub blockchains are type1 civi tech for a planet without any type1 thinking. As an example, the space industry should be a type1 industry but it isn't 'cause no one thinks in a type1 way. However, a pub blockchain could help solve this problem.

Just listening to the interview w/ @labelbox founder. Think they're focus should be in data quality & reliability via auctions markets rather than labelling. This solves the ethics problems in AI at the data level rather than the algo level. youtu.be/vd_TjJixHHk
