Working on our Halloween card game! Hoping to playtest this weekend and move into visual design in a few weeks!

Got my hands on the Jurassic Park Unmatched sets, already painted! I then promptly got my ass handed to me by @gretchenknapp even though I was playing the T-Rex!

There has to be some word for this concept It's why designers from tech who design touchscreens like Jony Ive won't put a touch screen in a car but use real knobs Or why programmers don't actually like smart homes and smart appliances at all but want things analog Or why tech people raise their kids without mobile devices Like knowing things so well from inside of it (tech) that you choose to NOT use it because you know the negatives that come with it in specific contexts

Castles of Burgundy is a classic dice rolling and action selection/tile placement game. We first played at the TN Game Days con and I fell in love so we picked up the special edition with castle minis.

I don't understand vertical tabs. Why would I want less space for the website content I actually want to look at?

@josesaezmerino I prefer vertical tabs with a sidebar that you can open/close. I usually browse with the window larger so I'm not distracted, but it gives me flexibility if I don't want the sidebar taking up too much room. Vertical tabs allows me to read the tabs more easily.

These are real screenshots from the new Harry Potter trailer. Whoever made this sort of dark-on-black-at-night cinematography style popular at HBO needs to be deported immediately. This is unwatchable. I literally cannot watch it. I cannot see what’s happening.

Playing the second edition of Great Western Trail. Great game, but other than the upgraded player boards I think I prefer the first version!

The White Castle finally hit our gaming table. Love how snappy but also thinky it is. It’s also drop dead beautiful.
