I wanted to hold my opinion on “The Odyssey” until I’d seen it. I know, weird. So, here it is: it’s grand spectacle with a fascinating moral core. It’s extraordinary. Also, the actors shouldn’t have said “Dad,” and the casting of Elliot Page is a pebble in the shoe - irritating and bothersome and unnecessary. I don't feel Ben is on our side. He clearly has no emotional attachment to the actual reason why so many on the right are pushing back on this film To dismiss it really exemplifies where his loyalties lie. I don't think anyone is surprised by his take on this movie but it pretty much finalizes my thoughts about Mr. Shapiro. Of course he say's it's a great movie. Why wouldn't he? I cannot overlook yet another cultural slander for the sake being agreeable. I remember reading this great work in my freshman Greek History class and thinking how amazing the Greeks were. This could have celebrated who they were but instead, it plays out as if the Greeks had nothing to do with it. Very disappointing.

@OneStrangeLife @benshapiro I used to think leftists had a monopoly on weird tribalistic purity tests and shaming anyone who doesn’t 100% conform, but clearly that’s wrong. You show us that conservatives can be that way too. It’s just a freakin opinion about a movie. It’s ok to disagree on things. 😑
