Of course you can question judges. They’re public servants accountable to the people and paid by taxpayers. Don’t put them on a pedestal. That’s medieval.

Dear #CJISuryaKant, the Supreme Court needs to put its house in order on reducing pending cases (as this news clip points out, 36 years for Rs 500) rather than punish #NCERT for pointing out corruption in the judiciary which is undeniable. Please support #NJAC & end the Collegium

@MinhazMerchant law makers have not done their part. they have made laws which are being misused routinely, and fake cases/accusers get away scot free when the accused are finally acquitted, whereas there should be harsh punishment for using the law as a weapon of revenge or extortion.

@MinhazMerchant Many fraudsters are using the courts to commit fraud and protect it but there is no action by the Judiciary against such fraudsters. It is just a blind process of endless dates which helps the fraudsters in their fraud.

@MinhazMerchant @prettypadmaja Insulation of Judiciary from Criticism and Answerability may not have been the intention,if that was so the principle of Checks and Balances would not have been evolved. Unelected Organ of Governance has greater responsibility should not hide behind the cloak of Independence.

@MinhazMerchant Agree. The hubris with which SC shut down questions on itself, refused FIR on one of its own and then derided a scholar like Danino should be a wake up call. Collegium should be ended. Cases should be cleared. Vacations should be curtailed. Salaries should be rationalised.

@MinhazMerchant Democracy is by the people for the people and of the people. People are the true owners of democracy. Judiciary is Third pillar of Democracy hence owned by people .Judiciary is answerable to the owners ; it can't escape the responsibility.
