It's crazy that after 6 years, I still haven't seen a single convincing reason why The Last of Us Part II is a bad game that doesn't ultimately boil down to "Joel died" or an emotional reaction. The game is just that good.

He could probably take Mr. Hands tier pipe and hold his breath the entire time. Or he would die trying, and be happy to do it, as the greatest sacrifice for love there is. We're not asking for that. We are asking for you to pretend to like us a few minutes a few times a week so we can live with ourselves enough to not divorce you, brutally traumatising the kids in the process, who then get to then hear your new bf fuck you loudly through the walls and probably also get molested by him, setting off a horrific chain of events involving 140 mph highway car chases livestreamed from news helicopters, gelatinous slurries of crime scene clean up biowaste that can not be neatly divided by individual, entire communities devastated into spending years in therapy for PTSD and still not being able to sleep through the nightmares, with hard grizzled veterans of the police force that thought they'd seen it all retiring early because they are "too old for this shit." All things considered that's a small price to pay. Considering the alternatives.

Dina and Ellie are not surviving in an apocalypse, they're too modern and soft. Abby the only character that looks the part, funny enough. That's why I like her.
