Cuando llegó steam con sus precios baratos, gamepass y demás ya no merecía la pena calentarse la cabeza o arriesgarse con los virus para piratear. Pero hoy día han subido tanto los precios que ningún juego merece 80-90€ y vuelve a rentar piratear y comprar solo lo esencial.

Here is the thing, we are still waiting for the "February" Nintendo Direct and we still don't have a proper direct in 2026 (yeah, partners and indie don't count) and if you don't announce it people will go to leakers and leakers will feel like now is the moment of speaking.

Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft have all had their problems with leaks of major 1st party games. I don't think much can be done. Certainly if it's all true, Nintendo isn't happy people know about Star Fox, the Ocarina of Time Remake or 3D Mario.

Muchos se alegran de los "precios dinamicos" anunciados por Nintendo a partir de Mayo, dando al Yoshi como ejemplo de precio "reducido" digitalmente. Pero no saben que les va a pasar como acá en Europa que físico cuesta más. Tengo solo 1 juego físico en Switch 2 por eso.

Básicamente la respuesta corta es "porque la PS1 era bastante débil". La forma de renderizado que usaban no trabajaba bien con números flotantes así que para que no explotase la posición de texturas se recalcula bruscamente en cada frame dependiendo de la posición de la cámara.
