As an aroace person, it means so much to me that Grace's happy ending doesn't require him to have a "mate" to feel fulfilled. He's on Erid with his best friend and he's teaching the next generation of Eridians, and he's fulfilled. That's all he needs. He's not "missing" anything.

One thing i love about #projecthailmary is some of the compositions when there's a circular theme, a lot of the shots in the film with round windows or hatches are dead centre, but as a photographer, these shots where the camera is in one of the lower corners are way more pleasing to the eye.
