Milwaukee artist Ruben Alcantar did not know 19-year-old Sade Robinson before she was murdered. He was moved by Sade’s story and wanted to create a space where the community could come together to remember her and celebrate her life. The mural is mostly pink, Sade’s favorite color. But, Ruben says, his color choice was just a coincidence. He chose the color because “pink is love.” #48hours
