The Orlando Magic have waived, Jonathan Isaac, one of the best could of been players on the defensive end of the court. The 6th overall pick in the 2017 draft, the Orlando Magic thought they had selected a superstar defensive player to help their current roster. But after multiple injuries throughout the years, the question now is what could have been, rather than what was. #Magic #Isaac #NBA

The Magic waived Jonathan Isaac, per @JakeLFischer. Chronic injury issues have plagued Isaac, but a potential buy-low wing/big option on the veteran’s minimum hits free agency.

@ori_riddleman @ShamsCharania I understand that, I can’t see a world where they wouldn’t have to give up a Clingan esc player unfortunately, I like the Murphy fit tho

@AMBHoops1 @ShamsCharania portland should say no. as amazing as brown is, he's not the perfect fit for portland. also clingan is a lot of pain on top of first 3rd picks. blazers really need a PF more than a SG, i can see portland do it for 3 first + jrue/scoot/sharpe, not clingan. maybe trey muphy

Per @ShamsCharania, The Portland Trail-Blazers have ‘significant interest’ in Jaylen Brown. This trade sees Portland acquire Brown in exchange for Jrue Holiday, Scoot Henderson, Donovan Clingan and 3 First Round Picks. The Celtics have said to be competitive, Brown needs to leave. Portland gets a superstar to play alongside Deni Avdija and a returning Damian Lillard to try and make another run for the playoffs. The Celtics add depth in getting back Jrue Holiday, Scoot Henderson can develop in Boston (hopefully into the player we all expected coming out of college) and Clingan most likely would be the piece to get the deal done, becoming the Celtics franchise Center. Who says no? #Celtics #Blazers #NBA
