Has anybody done this event using the Castor skin?

@Fortnite Another thing is while I can excuse Battle Passes being time gated, story missions like Shattered being time gated is inexcusable. Also, I'm actually not the only one with this issue, other people who replied to my recent comments share the same sentiment as I have.

@Fortnite And for those wondering, both Fortnite and Destiny 2 are live service games with a lot of story elements. Main thing in this event was the revelation that Geno was the Visitor from the Unknown Reality was a story beat on a similar scale to the death of The Witness.

@FlashOfEmbers @Fortnite For me I only wanted to experience the story beats of the event through my own lenses. Too bad they'll never add something like a review/replay system with them casually posting major plot points to the point where I don't care about the story anymore.

@Fortnite How about you give everyone that couldnt load into the event the cosmetics so that when you do get the server back up and running I can be happy I am playing season 3 and not be mad I had to watch the event play out on your youtube channel later.

@QueenDarkieReal Honestly, I might think about quitting too because although I could handle missing out on battle passes and store bundles due to them being time gated, I cannot tolerate the fact major story content like the shattered event is time gated.

@shxzer57 @FortniteStatus Same, and they'll never add a system where you can review/replay past story content. Playable story content preservation is something they'll never do.

@CaptWocky @genosdawn It's especially confusing for those who couldn't play the shattered event like myself. They'll never add a system where you can view/play past story content because they and many other live service titles don't care about preservation.

@Justin_Prim @FortniteStatus That's the thing, Live Service titles like these don't care about the preservation of story content like the shattered event. They care only about your wallet. Too bad they'll never add a system where you can replay past story content.

What a live event! We know some of you ran into matchmaking errors while trying to experience Shattered in a party. The Dark Voyager rules on - everyone who attended the event will be granted both the Bark Voyager sidekick and Chaos Cutlasses pickaxe. 🐶🟧

@PotatoCam69 I was surprised when I learned this game takes place at the same time as the 2018 game. I also was surprised to see both an Egyptian deity and what looks like an Japanese oni as antagonists. I can't wait for the full game to know what else is waiting to be uncovered.

Let me guess, people are going to call this game "trash" or "woke" because the main character is a woman, right? I'm only asking because there are grown ass men that genuinely complain about stuff like this 😭

@ifOnlyKantala I was laughing maniacally when Homielander lost his powers and started pleading for his life only to get flatlined in a very brutal manner. I never liked the inconsiderate jerk and glad its over in the best way IMO.

People wanted Homelander to scorch the Earth, Don't want to die, and Win in the end That’s exactly what’s wrong with people as a society, Makers don't want to leave that image, don't want bad people to win Homelander did horrible things. He ruined lives, killed innocent people, and treated himself like a god. A character like that doesn’t deserve a glorious ending. And that’s why his death worked. He didn’t die with aura or pride. He died like a human being scared, desperate, begging for survival in front of Butcher and live television. The man who saw himself as a god was reduced to fear and helplessness. That’s the most satisfying ending a villain like Homelander could get. Evil shouldn’t be rewarded just because it looks cool.

@ifOnlyKantala Tbh I was so filled with joy and laughing maniacally seeing Homelander begging for mercy knowing full well he didn't show everyone else the same courtesy. I am glad the finale played out the way it did.

I honestly don’t understand why people are complaining about Homelander’s ending in the final season of The Boys. Come on, it’s the finale. Butcher and the team had only one real chance, so obviously they were going to go all out. And realistically, Butcher and Ryan are strong enough to challenge Homelander. I don’t see the issue there. People also forget that Homelander was never some honorable or ethical man who would rather die than beg. Once he lost his power, he lost everything that made him feel superior. At that point, survival became his only goal, and he was willing to do anything for it. Honestly, it’s pretty well written. People are just overanalyzing and making it more complicated than it is. And let’s be real, it’s still a better finale than Game of Thrones and Stranger Things.
