@ohsimplething I'll just keep repeating that I feel like I really needed an 2-3 sections, I really feel like it would've launched the game so much higher 💔

@sebsmalv @DashLilHog They mentioned racists and called out their comment under that thread. What are you even talking about?
English

im genuinely crying the replies are half "fuck you toby fox dick sucker" and the other half is literally just a bunch of racists
Dash LilHog@DashLilHog
they really drew toby fox as benjamin netanyahu for saying he'd rather oversee transalation of his own fucking game than slapping the games dialogue into google transalate

@orchwyrd 2/2 Chloe doesn't have a campus exploring segment. I imagine if the Noelle backtalk failed there would be consequences here.
Also, Moses talks about Max telling other people, the game plays about with it for a moment. I feel like telling Amanda was an idea that they cut out.
English

@orchwyrd I feel like a lot of the problems in this game stem from how fast Day 3 is paced. I feel like it needed 2-3 extra segments to further explore character and consequences from previous choices. If anything, I feel like the game even built up to them. To give some examples 1/2
English

this is one of my main gripes with the game tbh, they only give us an illusion of choice rather than any real consequences for the decisions we make (especially decisions made in the previous game making LITERALLY no difference to the gameplay in this one)
tiffany@voneverecs
the friendship route with chloe is so funny because everything is the exact same except you don’t get the the kiss and there’s like one different dialogue #secretsofcaledon
English

@voneverecs I assume this happens if you didn't tell her about the fire? Normally this is where she mentions "Just don't be surprised if you make everything worse!!"

@P1vsTheWorld 1) Life is Strange
2) LiS 2 & Reunion
3) Double Exposure
4) True Colors & Captain Spirit
5) Before the Storm
6) Wavelengths
LiS 2 & Reunion honestly give the first game a fair run imo, with a few changes they would be equal to the first game in my eyes.

@newstart_2024 So you need a safe space huh? Then you must support those for minorities too, right?

Once institutions reach 50% women, they rarely stop there.
Helen Andrews points out that many fields keep feminizing — 52%, 55%, 56%… and in psychology, it’s now 75% female graduate students.
It’s not just women out-competing men and hitting natural balance. As environments become more feminized, they often start feeling unwelcoming to men: different conversation styles, more gossip and factions, less tolerance for certain kinds of debate. Men quietly leave, especially those drawn to the harder, more analytical sides of the field, which accelerates the shift.
The cycle becomes self-reinforcing.
Andrews suggests the only way to reverse it may be deliberately carving out spaces where men can work and debate in a more masculine way — without apology.
It’s an uncomfortable but honest observation about how institutions quietly change character over time.
Do you see this pattern playing out in fields you’re familiar with? Is there a healthy way to push back without turning everything into a gender war?
English

@wandydoodles Right? This one honestly got me heated, but what burns me out from arguing further is the fact I only have to say the same two arguments, it gets tiresome.
