Decisions on fuel, exchange rates, and taxes are directly shaping the cost of living and for many, the burden is getting heavier. Infrastructure is important, but governance is ultimately judged by how people live every day: can they afford food, are they safe, and can they work?

At the same time, insecurity continues to affect movement, farming, trade, and even basic safety in many regions. No infrastructure project feels meaningful if people don’t feel safe enough to use it. Policies also matter.

APC has made visible progress in infrastructure—roads, rail, and other projects that are shaping long-term development. That much is clear. But for ordinary Nigerians, that is not the full picture.
