Update on our hack and user funds: We want to start off by thanking the Abstract team for their continuous support in helping us recover funds. The support we've been given has been unmatched and they are going above and beyond. Here are some updates on where we are: 1. We have distributed a total of 94.85 ETH directly to affected wallets today 2. Alongside Abstract, we are currently working with law enforcement to identify any additional funds that may be able to be recovered. We appreciate the community's patience while we worked through recovering funds.

The rollout of @AbstractChain will be different from what you may have seen from other chains. Traditionally with new chain launches, the first inclination is to add the rpc to an existing browser wallet, bridge funds in, and start buying random tokens. With Abstract, we've built a portal that serves as your home for everything onchain. This portal will be your first steps into anything related to Abstract. When you go to abs. xyz at launch time, you'll be able to login and create an Abstract Global Wallet (AGW). This serves as both your portal account as well as the wallet you use for interacting with Abstract apps with AGW support. Once signed into the portal, you'll be able to access: - a wallet management page where you can view and manage your assets - a discovery page with a curated set of apps built just for Abstract - a trade page where you can execute onchain swaps on a DEX with the look and feel of a CEX - a stream page where you can view the top content creators in crypto - a rewards page to view your XP, multiplier, and badges - security settings to enable MFA and passkey sign in There's a lot that we've built into this portal so we've put together an intro video and a guided tour for you (coming out tomorrow). We hope that this first step into Abstract is unlike anything else you've experienced crypto. The team has put in countless hours to building this out and we're incredibly excited to share it with the world. See you soon.
