It is so obvious what Dems should run on. Vote Republican if you want endless war. Vote Democrat if you want daycare.
But to do that, Dems must commit to slashing the defense budget. Unfortunately, half the current Dem party won't do it. That's why we need to change the party.

It’s pretty manipulative and disingenuous of these journalists, TV presenters and trolls to pretend Harry and Meghan The Duchess of Sussex said they wanted to be private while never providing the quote or the statement of them saying this. That’s because such a statement doesn’t exist!
The truth is that THEY want them to be private so that they can write their life story for them full of false failure and unhappy narratives smearing them and pretending their life is terrible not being in the institution as tax funded royals where they were abused by family and from the media briefed by those other royals.
Just like Meghan said 👇 we all know Meghan and Harry didn’t say they wanted to be private and in their goodbye instagram post said they were excited to be back soon once they decided on their new path which included service (because yes, service is universal).
The ongoing (weaponised for more abuse) pretence that they asked to be private, as oppose to not having their privacy invaded (like printing private letters of Meghan) is the sinister behaviour of those working to protect a cult from the reputational hit of seeing a person leave it and flourish, be happy and to exist well at a distance from it. Apparently that’s threatening to a cult like institution!

Speaker Julie Menin’s preliminary budget proposal would result in slashing billions of dollars from agency budgets, which would force the City to cut services. Double counting previously identified savings, overestimating revenues, and exaggerating debt service savings does nothing to close a deficit. This $6 billion proposal asks Albany for just one action – class size mandate relief. It refuses to address the deeper structural imbalance between the City and the State, or to increase taxes on the wealthiest New Yorkers and most profitable corporations. It effectively ensures this structural deficit will continue indefinitely. Any proposal that claims we can close this gap without significant new revenue is unrealistic.
