@Soly_Reds Now imagine all those things but couldn't hit homeruns like the last couple of years... they'd be winless. Now imagine if they spent another $15-20M for a power-hitting everyday RFer this offseason. They'd probably be 6-1 right now.

Reds are: 7th worst in wRC+ 2nd worst in runs 2nd worst in defensive WAR Worst in steals 2nd worst in Pitching+ Last in Location+ And have a winning record despite facing some excellent starting pitching. Would be foolish to draw any conclusions in a 7 game sample, but they’re gonna need to get a lot better in all facets of the game to sustain any sort of competitiveness.
