Almighty God, through Your only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ, You overcame death and opened to us the gate of everlasting life. We humbly pray that we may live before You in righteousness and purity forever; through the same Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. @0Beanie05923291 I wouldn't worry about the ability of the child(ren), I'd be worried about the creepy people out to kidnap them.

The other day I saw a video of a mom recording her seven-year-old going into Chick-fil-A by himself to order lunch. She was so nervous about the whole thing. It kind of made me laugh because when I was 7 years old, my siblings and I would regularly ride our bikes to the grocery store a mile from home to buy milk, bread, and a carton of cigarettes for my mom. (Don’t judge my mom. It was the 80s.) I’m not advocating for letting children purchase cigarettes again, but I really do think parents need to relax a little bit. Children are capable of far more than parents are expecting of them today. I’m glad that little boy‘s mom decided to let him test his wings, but it shouldn’t have been such an earth-shattering event.
