A Chinese night club in Melbourne is hosting a special Chinese rave night to mark ANZAC Day. I cannot even begin to fathom this level of disrespect - this is a day where Australia honours and marks its war dead. Imagine carrying on like this as a foreigner in another country. If an Australian acted like this in China on their most important sacred national day, China would immediately deport them. And they would be right to do it. Nobody should act like this as a guest in another country. We simply demand a basic level of respect, a basic level of reciprocity. Don't come to our country and spit on us.

I have received numerous complaints from Irate residents who are deeply distressed that no Easter celebration messaging has been erected at the David Jones Westfield Parramatta store. Yesterday afternoon I conducted a walk through of David Jones Parramatta located at Westfield Shopping Centre and could not identify any Easter messaging. The apparent segregation of the Christian community is disgraceful and should be called out. Australia is a Western Democratic country with Christianity being identified as the main religion with roughly 43.9% of the population identifying as Christian. This kind of behavior is most unacceptable and needs to be called out. I have written to David Jones asking for a response in regard to this most serious matter. It is the responsibility of community leaders and major businesses to bring people together not sow division with woke policies that exclude the majority of our community in fear of offending minority groups. NATO's original function was because Western Europe and the USA feared the East Bloc. The fear was, specifically, that Russia with its slave allies would attack, conquer West Germany with all its wealth, then move into the Low Countries and France. Long before America could show up the conquest would be a fait accompli, and then the ineffective Communism system could feast, surviving for years on the bones of the West. With NATO, there were American troops right there in Germany, so an attack would be immediately opposed. Russia is no longer such a threat. The Warsaw Pact is long bone, and the nations that used to be enslaved under it are the strongest anti-Communists of all. Russia has demonstrated its inability to even conquer back Ukraine in any kind of timely way. So the original function of NATO is no more. We should focus on trade deals and other such instead.

As a party of peace & non-violence, the Greens believe Australia should be encouraging dialogue and diplomacy. War should always be avoided. Labor should be urging for peace -- not joining with the Liberals and One Nation to follow Trump into another forever war.

Australians do not want to get dragged into Trump and Netanyahu's illegal war on Iran, which is spiralling out of control. We are all watching wondering, when will this end? We cannot bomb our way to peace. Violence leads to more violence & it's always civilians who suffer most.
