@GlenvilleJr Mentioned it in another comment. It's a TextureButton with no textures, and with child nodes ColorRect, Label and NinePatchRect. Then glue everything through code. I use TextureButton because its blank and also I can make use of Godot's auto UI nav system and built-in signals.

@CleverLoon7471 Yeah, and if u use a TextureButton with no textures, you'll start with a blank slate so it's easier to add stuff on top. You could even use a RichTextLabel.

@CleverLoon7471 I still use a Button class as a root node so I can make use of built-in signals and keyboard/controller navigation which Godot auto handles. I made these using a TextureButton as root node (with no texture), a ColorRect, a Label and a NinePatchRect (for those borders).

@CleverLoon7471 Trial and error, and glueing stuff through code. This was made by combining Control nodes together rather than relying on Button nodes.

@scottpetrovic I haven't come across a single game engine where UI wasn't a pain in the ass. Even Unity is limited with buttons unless you add stuff on top. But I do agree that Godot is missing a lot more features for buttons that I wish were built in. This was made by combining Control nodes.

@Awfyboy I wish Godot had better button UI properties to do things like this. I feel like I always have to do almost everything custom with buttons to make them look good.

@mreliptik I exaggerated the effect so it pops out on smaller screens and on social media. Otherwise, I'd probably turn the effect down and change the trans effect to QUINT.

@Awfyboy Nice! If I can make one comment, I feel like the elastic tweening doesn't fit this style very much. I feel like its too dynamic for something that looks smooth and chill

@DrekenX1 @SamusHunter2 It's not impossible for Silksong to be at December Game Awards. Considering TC's marketman prefers to release games at the start of the year, it's possible that TC would showcase Silksong at the Game Awards then release it a few months later next year, like Jan or Feb 2025.

It may be a little early for this tweet, but winter is coming and so new announcements.

I'll give you another hint for now: the Zelda picture is not a hint for a Zelda game. The picture is like a riddle for the title in question look at all the elements in that screen.
