@AlexGetsHerWay All of this 💯💯💯. There’s a huge difference being IMPACTFUL and just being SEEN. A lot of people whose end goal is “a following” want a bunch of eyes on them without providing quality and value to the consumer.

The DMV/Baltimore had one of the best years in regards to music, especially within the underground scene. Had some of the strictest regulations in 2021 but still managed to curate shows, go on tour and attend shows every single weekend. We literally THRIVED in a whole pandemic.

Anita Baker's album RAPTURE is my 2nd favorite album behind What's Going On. This album is like a love story & personal diary. It is perfect. Anita wrote "Watch Your Step" when she was still in High School. Every song is like a poem. Salute to this classic.❤️

@stahhr My mom made sure my brother and I weren’t dependent on a woman to cook for us, so I’m QUICK to look up a recipe or simply get creative with ingredients. Heck, there are dishes my wife won’t even make b/c I make them so well. I don’t get someone being unable to cook either 🤷🏽‍♂️.
