@liliolme Colapinto for sure did nothing wrong. But that kind of closing speed into Spoon is totally new for drivers. Incidents are inevitable in F1, but the sport should be careful we don’t see something similar at a less forgiving corner.

Toto Wolff on the Bearman incident: “We need to see the Bearman accident for what it was. It was a misjudgment of a situation. It's like pushing the boost button and not braking on a kink where you're supposed to brake” Sounds like a Team Principal trying to protect their current advantage.

@viejaychota Drivers need to get used to these new cars, but in fairness to Bearman, that closing speed into Spoon is almost unheard of. That’s why drivers are also cautioning against late moves - with the new regs, it’s more dangerous than ever.

@BackmarkerSPRTS So now we’ve got Komatsu saying it was a calculation mistake from Bearman, and now Toto Wolff is saying the same thing they clearly know what they’re talking about.

@jpfarmer2022 I think that's exactly what he's saying. He's using the 'F1 is dangerous' card to argue against significant change on safety grounds. I'm not criticising him - after all, it's the team principal's job to protect the interests of the team.
