@BattlefieldNET @tiggr_ Something else strange happens in sabotage. When you die from out of bounds it’s sometimes earlier than when the timer hits 0. A second out of bound timer can also comes up right after you die and then your repawn cooldown starts after that ends, not sure if it’s intentional.

Players reporting that the "Out of bounds" timer on Manhattan Bridge has reverted to 5 seconds since the update. Why the change back from 10 to 5? 5 seconds doesn't really give you enough time to fly back into the battlefield. @tiggr_ #Battlefield | #Battlefield6 | #RedSec 🔥

@SlimThikCuteAzz @tiggr_ I don't play Escalation myself. So, does that mean the "out of bounds" timer in Escalation has always been only 5 seconds? Since its release and it's never been changed? That's interesting. And yes. In Conquest, it was increased to 10 seconds after release.

@BattlefieldNET @tiggr_ It was never 10 seconds for me. I’ve played every week since launch and it’s only ever been 5 seconds. Unless they made it 10 seconds in Conquest and didn’t change it in Escalation

@Oliver1370208 @marcus77francis @tiggr_ Nah, the whole issue is likely just an update bug 😎 Firstly, because the change wasn't mentioned in the update's changelog. And secondly, because the developers themselves increased the time from 5 to 10 seconds after release, when they realized that 5 seconds was way too short.

@BattlefieldNET @marcus77francis @tiggr_ Smaller maps = smaller times to get back to play. It’s extremely easy to strafe and turn your vehicle. I think players need to adjust instead of instantly looking to complain because it isn’t comfortable to them. No offense to you, just how I view it

@GuyverGamingTV @tiggr_ When I first saw the Manhattan Bridge map at the TGS2025, I really thought it was the answer to Siege of Shanghai. How wrong I was. The bridge is purely cosmetic, and the airspace is so narrow... compared to that, Siege of Shanghai was heaven (also for pilots).

@Maschinengeweh4 @BattlefieldNET @tiggr_ the revive 20 teamates in a match challenge has also been reverted to 50 (which is dumb since i complete the 20 revive part of the challenge, but since i didn't completed the incendiary part, it just got resetted lol) i dont really care though, but still a overlook..

@marcus77francis @tiggr_ I understand your point, but that's not what this is about. The issue is that once the pilots fly out of bounds, they need enough time to return to the playable area. That's not possible with only 5 sec. 10 sec is normal, just like in the older Battlefield games.

@BattlefieldNET @tiggr_ The goal is that you don’t abuse out of bounds to escape a rocket. Which is what many pilots do.

@ChigurhD @tiggr_ Yeah, probably. Regarding keybinds, I've made it a habit to back up the config files.

@ellioter89 @tiggr_ Too many devs working on BF6 who don't possess the pure Battlefield DNA. David Sirland and his former DICE colleagues should be locked in a room with the other former colleagues from Embark Studios and let out again after 2-3 years. Then we would get a 100% Battlefield again! 😉

@BattlefieldNET @tiggr_ This game is clearly an anti-vehicles philosophy. They want people to focus on CQC (Like a CoD game). They lied about taking battlefield to its roots. Air vehicles are dead (at the moment). WTF are you supposed to do with all those restraints?

Going out on a limb, I think it's the spaghetti code again. I figure individual devs commit individual changes on surface files, then the studio/team combines all the changes into one for the patch. But I imagine these fixes they're implementing sometimes requires them to go layers deeper in the code and edit other references to things in files not part of the branch they're supposed to be editing. Then for the final consolidation of the patch, they accidentally only take the most recently edited version of that more root file. Might only have a couple of versions, and maybe it's studio-based (one guy from each studio going that deep), but if changes aren't properly merged, it would result in what we're seeing; fixes not getting properly implemented, or even entirely undone between versions. What's a bet they're using AI to merge differences into one file... my own experience with that kinda stuff is, when you change the number of lines or nest something, it thinks entire chunks of the file are now "different" even though they only moved slightly and it fails to merge them properly, requiring proof reading everything. It's actually more work than doing it manually and remaining familiar with the code. I entirely stopped using automated difference editing because of it. This was when I was learning to code my own website in HTML/CSS, I legit just went back to using notepad and manually editing text files, nothing automated. Best way to learn, anyway.

@TheTopMostDog @Maschinengeweh4 @tiggr_ Yeah, that's right. The first weekend of the open beta was the best experience for me. By the second open beta weekend, they had already made changes, and things weren't going so well for many people.

@Maschinengeweh4 @BattlefieldNET @tiggr_ BF5 beta was the smoothest BF experience I'd had since frostbite. I was so keen for release, then it seemed like they went and rolled back a version. The running joke was we rolled back PC to the same build for consoles. Shame I didn't tweet at the time. x.com/TheTopMostDog/…

@Iambladesworn @Yahiaomar18 @SSKDJ20 @EAStarWars THEN there's game Betas, which I also no longer trust. Even when the Beta product is in my hand, it is "not a reflection of the final product"; proven in games like CoDMW and, even worse, BF5, where they rolled back a version and removed entire features from Open Beta to release.

@TheTopMostDog @Maschinengeweh4 @tiggr_ I've never been able to get into the whole "Battlefield Studios" thing. 4 different studios contribute components to Battlefield 6, and then a student has to put it all together? But all joking aside. One studio on its own (maybe with some help by another one) and that's it.

@BattlefieldNET @tiggr_ Some of changes that made before got partially reverted, by accident I think IFV Lock Guides were dealing lesser damages to stationary Tanks. Now it deals more than 643 damage to front constantly They need to overlook issues thoroughly before releasing patch

@awolf_2049 @tiggr_ I don't understand that either. I really wonder how many employees at DICE are messing around with the server configuration.
