I love this work but also think IWTV had beautiful prose cos of it being Louis' POV mainly and his sentimental nature, think there will be a huge shift in the tone of the lines for TVL. The brat prince Lestat POV probably will not be the same. We will see.

So, adding to this: if you come into my mentions to complain about Sam being one of the leads of a show he’s been one of the leads of for three seasons now, and dismiss him as just “the white guy” and not an actor who puts his all into his performance playing an incredibly complex character, you will also be blocked.

We warned you: this side of the fandom is going to act like it’s a competition between S1/2 and S3. We always knew it was coming because they have some kind of paranoia about the popularity of the characters. We will need to not fight over this. Let’s keep appreciating THE WHOLE SHOW how we always have been and giving all of the cast their well deserved flowers.

@itskuronekos The "white man" is Lestat, probably the most famous vampire! Making it about racism is diminishing everyone's work for the show since S1. Leave your performative bubble and you'll realize how many people have been here for decades, loving the books (where everyone is white btw)
